The CAPaD committee enthusiastically invites you to SAVE THE DATE for the CAPaD AGM/GM on 19 November 19, 2–5pm.

The venue is the St James Uniting Church hall. Enter the car park at 40 Gillies Street.

Come to catch up with all that’s happened in the past year and where we’re at now, as well as give direction for CAPaD’s future.

We also invite you to be involved in the committee, and instructions for nominating are attached. It would be great to have your input and company! You can also come to committee meetings without taking on an official position to listen and help any time.

The AGM will be short, followed by a terrific guest speaker (details coming soon), afternoon tea, and then three concurrent smaller group sessions. Our aim with these is to progress three of CAPaD’s most powerful projects by generating ideas and action options to suit the full diversity of our members’ skills, time and energy. You will be able to choose between:

• Participation in Urban Planning in the ACT
• Maximising the learning from current ACT citizens juries and panels
• MLA accountability

So please put the 19th in your diary — and invite some friends. Awakening democracy will take all of us!
