What do we want our MPs to do for us in 2026? poll
This poll and the Community Assembly that follows on March 8th (see below for more details and registration) is an experiment in how we might extend how we, the constituents, participate with our MPs in supporting them fulfilling their representative role.
CAPaD is running a short online poll to find out what government action do we most want our five federal MPs to contribute to for us in 2026. Pol.is, the app, helps tell what actions Canberrans most strongly agree or disagree on.
The poll is open until the early March and only takes a few minutes to complete.
Go to the CAPaD Activities page <What do we want our MPs to do? > section (at the top);
- Vote on proposals other people have put up. You can agree, disagree or pass.
- Submit your own proposals if they are not already covered.
- Share the poll link with others.
By taking part, you help shape a clear, evidence‑based message that we will share with our MPs so they know what matters most to us, their constituents.
The more Canberrans who join in, the clearer the picture our MPs will have of what we want them to do for us.
Please invite (by sharing this message) friends, neighbours, colleagues and community groups to do the poll too.
