Expanding the ACT Assembly for better government – is it time?

The 2019 Latimer House Review suggested that the ACT was under represented. We need more MLAs. The next Latimer House Review is happening in 2026 and we hope the report will be available for this event.
This is a potentially controversial suggestion. But really, is there a ‘right’ number of representatives per population size? What are the pros and cons of more MLAs?
And if we were to have more MLAs, how would be fit them into the electorate system?
